Has been visiting Korea for many
years on behalf of MVA for various transport and traffic projects for government and
research organisations. Knows the City of Seoul and parts of the country well and have
built up a good knowledge and experience of the Korean traffic system. Also well
acquainted with many of the Korean Institutes, organisations and experts dealing with
traffic and transport related topics. Believes that British traffic management experience
and practice is particularly relevant to Korea as the two countries have many similarities
- scale, size, population, historic town centres, etc, etc. |

Korea and the Korean people and is fascinated by the City of Seoul and the countryside of
Korea. Has spent time travelling around Korea, exploring the country and climbing
the mountains. Has also spent time in Yanbian, the
Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, China. Has been fortunate to visit the
Chanbai Mountains, climbed to Chun Jee (Heavenly Lake), so important to Korean people, and
reached the summit of Paektusan (White Mountain). |
